I am in the process of a divorce. Whilst the interest only mortgage is in joint names I have made the repayments. The Interest rate is low and fixed. In my view the lender is using the divorce to change the mortgage to repayment. There is in my view no justification for doing this L/V is. 60% and I earn more than enough to continue to make the payments. I consider the Lender is unethical what do you think? AAny advice?
