Hi everyone,
Someone sent this to me via e-mail and when I read it as it is written about a mother but also read it from a father's perpective and wanted to share with all you Dad's and Mum's who are having problems regarding contact with your children.
I live and hope that conflicts can be resolved and all our children have a happy and healthy life with both parents one day soon. I have changed the word Mother to Father as it is many more Fathers on here who are unfairly kept away frfom their children.

I am their Dad, but now I am all alone
Every fibre of my flesh and bone has been crushed by the others
Everything I ever said or done
was twisted and used against me
Through no choice of my own
My fatherless children were cut off from me
If you should ever see them
Please tell them I still love them
Now poisoned against me, I would never have abused them
Even if I had ever been allowed to see them
Being human I have flaws you can identify
But to be separated from ones own child
Is a crime against all humanity?
Even this doggerel that flows from my pen
Is true for another two hundred thousand similar men

A Father who LOVES his children
That's the spirit of the age.

a bit trite- but i think it sums it up.
I reflect on this now - as i enter a period (all my own fault-if you are an owl follower) of a month without seeing my sons.
'phone parenting' just dont do it for me...

Me neither especially when son has been told by GF that when up there no contact with me, nice.
This is why I have been trying for the last two months to work contact out with ex so that neither one of us or our child has a lengthy period away from us. But met with there is no schedule etc etc lovely so looking forward to the hearing next year so I can prove I have been amicable trying and submitting ideas and changing our placs to suit his unscheduled days with child.
Oneday I hope it gets better. All this because of money not even because he actually wants more contact just not to have to pay any CM, poor kids xxxx

yes- poor kids... thats the thing i hate the most... I know what owl is trying to say on this that kids adapt etc... and thats true... but... they shouldnt have to...
